Sometimes, when the ABC approves a California liquor license, it does so with specific operating conditions that must be followed by the licensee. Conditions can range from the amount of food sold in relation to the amount of alcohol sold, restrictions on entertainment, restrictions on operating hours, etc…

These conditions were agreed to by the applicant in order to get the application approved.  They are binding and can result in severe penalties when not adhered to.  Suspensions and/or fines may occur if you violate the conditions of your license.
