If your California liquor license renewal fee is not paid within 90 days of the date it was due, it may be revoked. This can happen if a business owner simply forgets to pay the renewal fee or in situations such as an address change results in a licensee not receiving their renewal notice.
Remember, as a licensee, it is your responsibility to get the renewal fee paid on time regardless of the circumstances. However, there are instances when the ABC may reinstate your license even after it was revoked due to non-payment.
